The Committee-The Original Austin Chapter (TCTOAC) is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit charitable organization, promoting higher learning education for graduating seniors, supporting minority business growth, and recognition of local legends for their contributions to the community.  Our hope is that we can be a source of inspiration and encouragement by providing mentoring to minority businesses and students in the Austin and surrounding areas.​

 

 

 

 

Eligibility Criteria

2025 Scholarship Application Season is Now Open!

TCTOAC is proud to support the academic dreams of students in the Greater Austin area through our annual scholarship program.

We are now accepting applications from high school seniors who have applied to a college, university, or trade school for the 2024–2025 academic year.

Application Window:
April 10 – June 5, 2025

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be a high school senior in the Greater Austin and surrounding areas

• Must have a minimum GPA of 2.75

• Must submit an application, transcript, and 850-word essay

• Essay Topic: "What are your thoughts and opinions on the lack of Black History in high school curriculum?"

 Deadline to submit: June 5, 2025, at midnight
